If wasn't for shunning and DF the other half of my family would be JW today, around 30-50

in the KH today. But because they saw first hand, (the shunning) it stopped them

dead in their track. My none JW family thank me every day for my DF...

I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice

i popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.

it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.

here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

I believe if they got rid of disfellowshipping the numbers would increase.

Most folks that get disfellowship never learn the truth about the truth, so

in their mind it's the truth. If I was never shunned I would be a JW today.

The harsh treament cause many to reexamine their belief.You have a lot of

time on your hand and that is dangerous for the organization.

I now hate being called 'sister'

since waking up i find i am bridling at being called 'sister'.

but it feels like an identity that is being forced on me.. i feel like shouting "i have a name you know!".

it seems like there has not been as much discussion here about the rc testimony on day 6 (4th august) as there has been about previous days.

i was quite surprised by rodney spinks' testimony, which was a marked contrast to the bungling and inarticulate testimony of the elders that appeared before him.

spinks seemed reasonably co-operative, and a lot more willing to concede points than anyone else has been.
